Delete your Lumixi account
App concerned: Lumixi (be.fobdev.lumixi). You can delete your account and all of your data at any time, from the app or by writing to us if you no longer have it installed.
From the app
Open “Account and household”
In the Lumixi settings, open the Account and household screen.
Delete my account
At the bottom of the screen, tap Delete my account. The consequences are shown to you before anything is deleted.
Confirm
Two confirmations are required. Deletion is immediate and permanent: nothing can be recovered afterwards.
Without the app
If you have uninstalled Lumixi, write to privacy@lumixi.app from the email address of the Google account used in the app, with the subject Lumixi account deletion. We need nothing else: that address is enough to find the account, and we never ask for identity documents or passwords.
Requests are handled within 30 days. You receive a written confirmation once the deletion is done.
What is deleted
Deletion erases the account itself and everything attached to it: the email address of the Google account, the registered phones and their names, the camera/monitor pairings, camera labels, household membership, detection events and the subscription state on the Lumixi side. None of it is kept in a form that could re-identify you.
Video and sound are never involved: they travel only between your two phones and are stored on no Lumixi server.
What is not deleted
Your Google Play subscription
It belongs to your Google account, not to Lumixi: deleting your Lumixi account does not cancel it and billing continues. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions. Lumixi cannot do it for you.
The second phone in your household
If your account carried the shared subscription, the other parent loses Lumixi Premium at the moment of deletion. Let them know beforehand.
Technical logs
Minimised security logs (timestamps, error codes) may remain for the period set out in our privacy policy, without allowing you to be re-identified.
Data left on your phones
Local app settings are erased by uninstalling Lumixi or by clearing the app data in the Android settings.
